You may search by individual or multiple words or your may search for a phrase by using quotation marks e.g., "Home Rental Assistance".

When you click Search, the following things happen:

Any words that are on a list of 'noise words' which are relatively uninformative words such as 'about', 'for', 'them', 'how' as well as single letters and single numerals are discarded.

The search then looks for files that contain as many as possible of the words together with their extended or inflected versions e.g., if you enter 'dog' it will also look for 'dogs' or if you type in 'flew', you will get hits from files containing any of 'fly', 'flew', 'flies', or 'flown'.

Lastly, each selection is ranked as to how well it matches the search request.
